This ex-soccer player from Madrid known as "Koke" held the position of goalkeeper. Koke is another of the names in capital letters of Spanish football. He became international with the Spanish National Team, where he made his debut in 2002, in the match that ended with a tie on the scoreboard: Spain 0 – Uruguay 0. The goalkeeper was formed between 1992/1996 in the lower categories of Real Madrid. He returned to the white discipline between 1997/1999. Previously, Koke signed for Rayo Vallecano between 1996/1999. During his professional career, the player went through Málaga Club Fútbol. In this last formation he reached the quarterfinals of the UEFA Cup, entering the club's history as one of the best players to wear the blue and white jersey of the Malaga club.

During the 2003/2007 period he became part of the Real Betis Balompié squad. In this club he is proclaimed champion of the Cup of His Majesty the King. In the 2007/2008 season he is loaned to Cádiz Club Fútbol to help the team climb the league and sneak into the first division. Despite his high performance and having offers to continue in both first- and second-class clubs, the athlete hung up his gloves to take up the position of goalkeeper coach at Málaga Club de Fútbol.

To what he had meant to play in the World Cup for his career, the footballer specified: “It meant an accolade to my career, to my sacrifice... It was an award. A coincidence and you don't have to think about it too much. It was a pride, but I took it as a responsibility too…. This is very nice, but I am a goalkeeper for the National Team, I don't care about two or 15, and I come to work. And we are here to row touch where I touch." This gives us a glimpse of his beginnings on the field of play.

Contreras is also a goalkeeper for the RobynGoods solidarity Dream Team. It is an honor for our team to have this great Spanish goalkeeper. A national soccer great, a figure admired by lovers of this sport.

Thank you infinite, Koke for joining our team!
